Cornerstones in Number: Fractions 8–12

Cornerstones in Number will transform primary school students into confident and independent mathematicians. This series offers an innovative approach to address the fundamental building blocks of mathematics – place value, fractions and counting – for primary school students.

• Students construct their own manipulatives, which are used to explore, investigate, model and demonstrate their understanding.
• Using selected teaching and learning strategies, students work collaboratively to solve problems and develop mathematical thinking and language.
