There are four documentary programs in the series. The first program, 'Performing Stories' introduces students to samples of the performing arts from each country and how stories from the region are told through each medium of dance, drama and music. In program two, 'Exploring Performance' there is an investigation of how the performances are constructed and the third program, 'Styles, Influences and Performances' follows a thematic approach, focusing on specific techniques, forms and instruments. The fourth program, 'A Cultural Fusion' showcases the ways the performing arts of the region have influenced Australian performing arts in a blending of traditional and contemporary performances.

The accompanying CD-ROM contains music and support materials that include teaching suggestions, classroom activities and background information.
