The Talking Values DVD-ROM is a component of the Values for Australian Schooling Kit (Primary/Secondary) distributed to all Australian schools.
It features a 20-minute video of teachers, students, parents and other educators discussing approaches to values education. The DVD-ROM also includes extended interviews and school stories about values education in action.
PDFs of support notes for teachers about the video and two PowerPoint presentations - one on the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools (2005) and one on the whole school approach to values education - are also provided.
The DVD-ROM aims to engage and support teachers and school communities in reflecting on the principles and practice of values education.
