CrossCurrents

CrossCurrents is a collection of 'readings' or texts - visual and written - designed for use in English and SOSE areas related to civics and citizenship, studies of Asia, and values education. The texts deal with corecivics and citizenship ideas, events and themes in a variety of Asian contexts, and provide a range of historical, geographical and cultural perspectives in a diversity of text types and voices, and aim to engage students in issues and ideas of relevance. They reflect the experiences of men, women and young people from the past, from today, from a range of Asian cultures, and from Australia.
