Hao Ji Le!

For students who are beginning and consolidating their Chinese language skills, Hao Ji Le! Activities for beginners includes:

• a variety of fun and engaging self-paced activities for students in the middle years of schooling
• games for all strands of language learning (speaking and listening, reading and writing) - covering the broadest spectrum of language learning

Based on familiar topics, within four sections: Me, My Day, At Home, Out and About, Hao Ji Le! can easily be matched to any classroom program. All of the learning sits in a real-life context as students follow the adventures of four appealing characters - John, Sophie, Tiantian and Xiaomei. Hao Ji Le introduces new structures and vocabulary gradually, while reinforcing previous material. Opportunities for self- and peer-assessment are included, as the learning structure guides students in setting goals and taking control of their own progression.
